Exceed

"All I have left to do... is EXCEED."

I've been wanting to draw my holosmith/scrapper Sylvari with his new weapons!! His name's Ardan and he's not only a member of the Order of the Crystal Bloom, but he's also a Whisper Agent under the name Jessica.

He went through a several month process to first make his shield out of Prismatium with some help with other Blooms, then partnered up with another RP character called Juniper to make the sword. Long story short, his weapons are made of friendship. :>

He's always liked dragonflies, so I kept the influence of dragonflies as an inspiration for his sword and shield. The wings do serve a functional purpose: they help vent the excess energy the shield absorbs doing fights in order to protect the user. He's had a long journey of struggle of not being able to keep up with his peers due to his young age... but he's easily one of my favorite roleplay characters. He's come so far! Really proud of how he came out, RP wise and art wise!
